1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Smart Storytime (“Platform”, “we”, “our”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.

We recommend that you save a copy of these Terms for your records.

2. Description of Platform

Smart Storytime is an AI-powered digital platform that generates personalized children’s ebooks (in digital PDF format) designed to help children navigate emotional challenges through storytelling.

All products created through Smart Storytime are digital downloads. No physical products are offered or fulfilled through this Platform.

Smart Storytime ebooks are educational and emotional development resources intended to be used with the active involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Who May Use Smart Storytime

Accounts may only be created by adults aged 18 years or older. This includes parents, legal guardians, therapists, educators, or other adults authorized by a parent or guardian.

Children do not create accounts and do not provide consent. All child-related data is provided by the adult user.

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You are the parent, legal guardian, or an authorized adult acting on behalf of the child.
• You have the authority to provide the information submitted for ebook personalization.
• The information you provide is accurate and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Personalized Digital Products

Each digital ebook generated through Smart Storytime is unique and personalized based on the information you provide. Upon purchase, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to use the generated ebook for private family or educational use.

Smart Storytime retains all rights to the underlying platform, technology, templates, and generation systems.

You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any ebooks generated through the Platform.

5. Payment and Pricing

All purchases are processed through our third-party payment processor. Pricing is displayed on the Platform at the time of purchase and is subject to change with notice. Applicable taxes may be added to the purchase price as required by law.

Smart Storytime does not directly store your payment card information.

6. Refund Policy

Since each digital ebook is personalized and generated specifically for your order, refunds are generally not available once the ebook has been generated and made available for download.

However, if your ebook does not match the specifications you provided, or if there was a technical issue preventing delivery, please contact us within 7 days through our Help Center and we will work to resolve the issue, including offering a replacement or refund where appropriate.

Refund requests may also be subject to the terms of our payment processor.

7. Not a Substitute for Professional Help

Smart Storytime ebooks are designed to assist with common childhood emotional challenges (such as a first day of school, sibling rivalry, or fear of the dark) with parental guidance. They are not designed to address complex emotional, behavioral, or developmental concerns.

We make no guarantees that the use of our ebooks will resolve any emotional challenges. If your child is dealing with serious emotional concerns, we recommend consulting a qualified professional.

8. AI-Generated Content & Parental Review

Smart Storytime stories are generated by artificial intelligence. While our safety systems are designed to produce content that is positive, age-appropriate, and physically safe, AI technology can occasionally produce unexpected or imperfect results.

Smart Storytime is designed for parents and guardians to read to their children. We strongly recommend that you review each story in full before sharing it with your child. This is an important part of the reading experience and helps ensure the content is right for your family.

If you encounter any content that seems inappropriate, unsafe, or concerning, please do not read it to your child. Instead, contact us immediately through our Help Center and we will address the issue promptly. Your feedback directly helps us improve our safety systems for all families.

We continuously update and improve our content safety measures based on user feedback and advances in AI safety research.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information for ebook personalization.
• Input harmful, abusive, illegal, or inappropriate content into the Platform.
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access restrictions.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized users.
• Copy, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Platform or its technology.

10. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including all content, features, technology, design, and software, is owned by Smart Storytime and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and all digital products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smart Storytime, its directors, employees, or partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Smart Storytime, its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time without prior notice if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. You retain access to any ebooks you have already purchased and downloaded.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Haifa, Israel.
